Single-Use Plastic Bag Ban

What’s happening locally?

As of May 1st both Carbondale and Aspen are plastic bag free at the grocery stores! In need of some reusable bags? Stop by Aspen’s Environmental Health office in City Hall, CORE’s Carbondale office in the Third Street Cetner, or Carbondale Town Hall for a free reusable bag. Look sleek and be green when you shop!

If you live in Basalt, still take action and choose to bring your OWN bags to grocery shop. Whole Foods will not provide plastic grocery bags once they open!
